If the A/C vents in your Volkswagen GTI are broken, loose, faded, or no longer controlling airflow, the dealer path usually means replacing the whole vent assembly. VentTabs keeps the fix focused on the small control tab, so the repair is simpler, less expensive, and usually tool-free.
Order the VentTab that matches your vent position, finish, and pack size. If the louver layout in your cabin looks different from the photos, send support a quick picture before checkout so the repair starts with the closest confirmed match.
Designed for Volkswagen GTI 2005-2010.
Parts are modeled in 3D CAD and proven against the actual A/C vent geometry before release.
Made from ABS or nylon selected for the specific vent design and finish.
VentTabs has spent years solving broken or missing automotive vent control tabs with protected repair designs.
The original vent controls can loosen, fade, or break off while the rest of the vent still works. This keeps the order, install, and support focused on the part drivers actually touch.
What stays protected
Original dashboard trim
Factory vent housing
Directional airflow control
Each supported vent can require a different tab design. Match the vehicle, vent position, and pack size before ordering. If the repair match is unclear, support can help verify the right next step.
Included
VentTab replacement in the selected pack size and location.
Fitment
Built for Volkswagen GTI 2005-2010.
Install
No vent removal in most cases; center the mechanism behind the louvers and slide the tab into place.
Material
High-strength ABS or nylon, depending on the vent design.
Watch the repair before you order.
Install flow
Line up the replacement with the louver blade where the original control tab snapped off.
Seat the VentTab on the correct blade, supporting the vent from behind if needed.
Run the vent through its range and confirm it holds the direction you set.

Step 01
Check all your vents for functionality. Use your year, make, and model to order the correct VentTab, then choose the right vent position and color when asked. Before installing, remove any remaining loose plastic so the replacement tab can seat cleanly.
Step 02
Begin by placing the VentTab on the correct louver blade. Keep the tab centered and line up the two VentTab forks so they straddle the vertical post.
Step 03
Press the VentTab into position until it locks onto the louver. You'll feel or hear a click when it's properly installed. You're done.

Vent tab replacement
Great item. Great service. So easy to order & install. If I need you again, I definitely will order another!
VW Eos vent tabs
Great, installed very easily, helped sell my car with perfect interior!
Simple and effective
It was getting a bit ridiculous trying to find a replacement for the vent tabs on my VW Golf. To get them replaced properly involved having the whole air conditioning dash system replaced which is ridiculous. I was going to try to model my own 3D tabs to get printed but it was nice to find these already available. They require a bit of fidgeting to fit perfectly but because of the material they're made of they can be easily filed to fit. They look close enough to the original vent tabs and perform fine.
Best thing to buy if your clips break!
I have to give credit to Vent Tabs, your customer service was out standing, and you have saved me a great amount of money. They look just like the OE tabs, and I installed 3/4 I needed in less than a minute. It doesn't get much better, or easier than these! Thanks again Vent Tabs, I will suggest you to all of my friends.
Excellent, cheap and simple.
No complaints. Works great. Almost looks like the OEM version and doesn't involve me having to replace the vent.
Versatile Vent Tabs
I was concerned that this would not fit and work properly because it looked a little different than the original, but it fit and works perfectly!
I looked all over for this solution, very happy!
Great design and product. Very cheap and easy solution to fixing broken vent tabs.
VW Jetta Taps
They fit perfectly! This was the only place I could find taps where you didn’t have to buy the entire vent system. Definitely recommend!
Great replacement for missing vent tabs
My 10-year old Jetta was missing 3 of the 4 vent tabs. These replacement vent tabs snapped in easily and work perfectly. Very nice!
